Hamburger helper got grown
Buncha salty motherfuckers in this thread, jeeze. American goulash is friggin great, though I make it with Worcester sauce instead of soy sauce. Also green peas.
I like to finish mine by dumping it all in a casserole dish, topping it with a ton of shredded mozzarella, and baking it until the top is melty golden brown. It’s delicious.
also before anyone tells me this isn’t healthy i don’t care i’m fat and happy

This is something, but its not Goulash.
We always (and I still make it this way) put in canned mushrooms. Has to be canned… So odd but so good.
And don’t drain the beef!!
Never made it with all those spices though. Just salt. Will try it though!
Unpopular opinion: this is vile. I’ll the traditional Hungarian goulash every day of the week over this.
I’m sure my Grandma’s recipe was different but I really want to try making this for the nostalgia anyway.
