I love all the little things that John Wick does right. Like counting the bullets (At least the first one).

I knew it was worn that way to see it while holding a rifle but I didn’t even think about reflections. This could be a subtle nod as to why I’m not a master assassin.

The dedication to detail and realism makes these movies feel even more brutal somehow. Can’t wait for the next one to come out!

AIthough

Now THIS is an amazing detail!

Plus, it’s Keanu and he’s a pretty cool human.

Nice catch!

Holy cow, this must be why my dad (an army vet) wears his watch “weird”! I always thought it was strange that he put it on like that, only to have to twist his wrist to see the time.

There is a few different reasons for turning his watch to the inside of his wrist but I also appreciate when a movie has these real life actions in them. Makes them that much more enjoyable.

I froth Keanu so hard, not just due to the commitment to his role but because HE’S A FUCKING BABE im straight I promise

While you are right that many soldiers wear their watches like that, I also know many people who never were in the military who do it. Most of the civilians who I’ve seen do that have expensive watches and do that to avoid scratching the watch crystal if they brush against something.

To clarify, I think you’re right about why John does it.
