Sat through a several hour rain delay to see a game at Wrigley in 2005. Took this picture with a B&W disposable camera of Greg Maddux warming up. He threw his 3000th strikeout later in the game

A fan photo from a game of that significance? The Hall Of Fame might be interested!

My favorite player of all time. Got so many autographs of him, rookie cards and a huge oil painting I got him to sign, Atlanta loves you Greg

I was at this game too. Second coolest part of this game was when the giants brought in Hawkins. He had just been traded either earlier in the season or during the off season. It was his first time back to Wrigley since the trade. As he was coming in, the entire crowd was chanting ‘Haaaawwwww—–kkkkkkinnnnssss’. Super slow. Perfect unison. It was almost creepy. Think he gave up a home run on his first pitch which ended up letting the cubs win the game.

It breaks my heart that he ruined his career by signing with chicago.

Good thing about the Dome. I’ve never sat through a rain delay. Awesome pic though.
