Has to be that time Jayson Tatum was breastfed during a game

I’m more a fan of iverson’s mom claiming immaculate conception with her pregnancy with AI.

My mom used to put pacer games on tv while muted and turn the radio coverage on so we could hear slick Leonard call. My whole family would gather around to watch and listen to games and we still all say boom baby to this day .

Growing up in the early-90’s my little brother and I were obsessed with the Sonics and the NBA in general. My mom would always try to join in our conversations because she wanted to relate to us and she tried so hard to remember the teams and who was on what team. We’d always quiz her by throwing out a player and have her guess his team. Love her for trying like that.

Honestly this season has been my favorite basketball memory with my mom. I moved halfway across the country and took a new job in her town.

We have watched almost every game together since December and the Blazers have been having an awesome season and the guys on the team are all really likeable.

We sent Nurkic a get well soon card. She typed up a letter that said he reminds her of her sons and so she’s “adopted” him.

We’re in Vegas this weekend and will be watching game 7 today with all my brothers who flew in from around the country.

Love you Mom, happy Mother’s Day!

My first college basketball game was the miracle minute with Jay Williams. I begged my mom to get me tickets because he was my favorite player at the time and she surprised me with them. Little did I know what I was going to see that day lmao.

Not technically a memory I guess, but: my mom says that when I was a newborn she would put me down in my crib to sleep early just so she could watch Walt Frazier play. She said he was her favorite player because he never argued or fought with anyone.
